Butter Chicken

Ingredients
- *600g chicken thighs, cubed
- *1 cup plain yogurt
- *2 tbsp garam masala
- *1 can (400ml) crushed tomatoes
- *3 tbsp butter
- *1 cup heavy cream
- *1 onion, finely diced
- *3 cloves garlic, minced
- *1 tbsp ginger, grated
- *1 tsp turmeric
Instructions
- 1Marinate chicken in yogurt, half the garam masala, and turmeric for at least 20 minutes.
- 2Melt butter in a heavy pan. Cook onion, garlic, and ginger until softened, about 5 minutes.
- 3Add remaining garam masala and cook for 1 minute. Pour in crushed tomatoes and simmer for 15 minutes.
- 4Add the marinated chicken and cook for 15 minutes until cooked through.
- 5Stir in heavy cream, simmer for 5 more minutes. Serve with basmati rice or naan.
