Pork Gyoza

Ingredients

  • *300g ground pork
  • *2 cups napa cabbage, finely minced and squeezed dry
  • *3 green onions, finely chopped
  • *2 cloves garlic, minced
  • *1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • *1 tbsp soy sauce
  • *1 tsp sesame oil
  • *40 gyoza wrappers
  • *Rice vinegar and chili oil for dipping

Instructions

  1. 1Mix pork, cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a bowl until well combined.
  2. 2Place a tablespoon of filling in the center of each wrapper. Wet the edges with water, fold in half, and pleat to seal.
  3. 3Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Place gyoza flat-side down and cook for 2 minutes until bottoms are golden.
  4. 4Add 1/4 cup water, cover immediately, and steam for 5 minutes until wrappers are translucent.
  5. 5Remove lid and cook for 1 more minute to re-crisp the bottoms. Serve with soy-vinegar dipping sauce.
