Palak Paneer

Ingredients

  • *400g fresh spinach
  • *250g paneer, cubed
  • *1 onion, diced
  • *2 tomatoes, chopped
  • *3 cloves garlic, minced
  • *1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • *1 tsp cumin seeds
  • *1 tsp garam masala
  • *1/2 cup cream
  • *2 tbsp ghee

Instructions

  1. 1Blanch spinach in boiling water for 2 minutes, then transfer to ice water. Blend into a smooth puree.
  2. 2Heat ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Saute onion, garlic, and ginger until golden.
  3. 3Add tomatoes and cook until softened. Stir in garam masala.
  4. 4Pour in the spinach puree and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. 5Add paneer cubes and cream. Simmer for 5 minutes. Serve with naan or roti.
